Birth Control Clinical Study

Thanks for taking your time to learn more about a birth control pill clinical study. The study is being conducted throughout the United States and Europe, including my office. This low dose birth control pill is similar to other pills already on the market. It has been my observation that the patients like this pill. They have regular light menstrual cycles, it improves their complexion, and it doesn’t cause any mood changes.

When someone participates in a clinical trial, the pharmaceutical company pays for all expenses related to the study. Therefore, there is no need for any payment or insurance. In fact, each patient is compensated for each visit. There are seven visits in the study and each visit is compensated at $50.00. If you complete the study, you will receive a total of $350.00. Patients can also discontinue the study at anytime for any reason.

I have participated in clinical research for 14 years. I am board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and have been in private practice for 27 years.

We will do our best to accommodate your schedule. We are open Monday thru Friday. Our office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The first visit usually takes about an hour. Subsequent appointments last only 15 minutes. My office address is 2881 North Tenaya Way, Las Vegas, NV 89128, which is across the street from Mountain View Hospital.

If you wish to participate or have any questions, please call my office at (702) 242-8800. If you wish to email me, please email me at

I hope that you decide to participate.

Kind regards,

Garn Mabey, Jr., M.D.
